Why have you made an additional charge to my card? I paid for my order when I checked out.

As a trade supplier we only sell moulding in full lengths. Because it is a natural wood product, moulding lengths vary between 2.3m and 3m, even within a small batch, and we won't know what lengths are available until we pick the order. We therefore ask customers to tell us how many metres they need, and we round that up to the next whole length to ensure you have enough to complete the job, which is why the final invoice value may be higher than the basket total.

We include this information on rounding up at various points in the ordering process, including on the product page, in the order confirmation email and in our Terms & Conditions. As we recognise that ordering moulding is often unfamiliar to newer customers, we also cover it in our 'New to Framing' section and in our FAQs.
